Music Review: Was (Not Was) - Walk the Dinosaur

Playing this at a house party full of college kids will give mixed reactions. Luckily my crowd loved it and began doing the dance. It was hilarious. With the classic 80's vibes and a catchy hook this song makes you want to walk the dinosaur. The cheesy keyboard and sax in the middle only adds to the classic 80s. Although it is weird how the last line says "Kill the dinosaur." Thats not very nice =[
So remember, open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.

Music Review: Smash the Floor - We Bang

Love it or hate it.. Dubstep is one of those EDM genres that always gets played. I spun this at a local house party and the reaction was insane! People were coming up to me asking what this type of music was and requested for more. The hook on this song is as filthy as a back alley prostitute named Candy. Like the title it makes me wanna smash the floor with its mad wicked bass and synth.

Gaming Review: Medal of Honor

Medal of Honor Review:
With modern shooters the most popular genre in the FPS world right now it is no wonder this classic franchise was brought back in the modern era. But does is it already too late or has DICE brought another blockbuster hit? In order to get a sequel out of this it HAS to be a hit otherwise it's already done for.  MoH Must sell 3 Million to get a sequel.


In essence this game does have high expectations as the classic franchise is made by none other than DICE, the people behind the Battlefield series. My friends have been saying this game is the "Black Ops" killer. What I've found is the multiplayer is less than average. If you've played Bad Company 2 you'll know what to expect going into multiplayer. However going from a nice attempt at large scale warfare like Bad Company 2 did Medal of Honor brings it to a much smaller scope and is plagued with frustration and cheap deaths. The hitboxes seem to hit randomly as you could be shooting someone directly in the head with an M21 and die right away. It could be due to lag or just the game itself. The maps are pretty generic for the most part. You will either see desert or ruined cities which aren't imbalanced but could use a little variety scenery wise. What DICE does get extremely well is the sound. The sounds of each gun sounds spot on and much more realistic than the CoD series. Random shouting from other people brings the realism on another level. The controls however seem to be the same as any other DICE game so either turn up the sensitivity or get used to it. I play on a mouse and keyboard and still the controls just aren't as fluid as the CoD series.

Moving onto the campaign is where this game shines. From start to finish the voice acting is top notch and provides a story that does bring a few surprises. In all honestly I've had more fun with the campaign than playing online. The pace of each mission does seem to get repetitive but the action makes it up. Although everything is linear and it would be nice to explore outside of the objectives and enjoy the scenery once in awhile.

In essence MoH does bring to the table a decent modern shooter when the market is overflooded with it. The multiplayer is less than stellar and will be forgettable in a few months. Its not to say this game isn't bad however. A top notch campaign mode makes up for it. I would definitely recommend renting it though as this game isn't really worth the retail price tag in my opinion.
